Our project is not yet a game...

Anyway, we have already some code that compile and produces a 3D animation.
Do you remember Stuntcar under Amiga or Atari ?
Yeahh !!! This is exactly what we want to do under PC !

The project is hosted by sourceforge and can be found there The Stuntux Project
Downloading our tarball is a good idea if you want to have something that can be compiled without many problems.

Please keep in mind that this is only a preview of what the3D engine can do.
The bouncing pyramid goes through the floor after a while.
THIS IS NOT A BUG !!!
This is only a misuse of the3D engine that cannot yet handle objet (but only 3D points). Thus using it with an object is not a allowed usage ! Arf !! Does anyone can imagine what will be the result if a geometric point was boucing on the wall ??? :-))

The Boucing Pyramid Tarball : stuntux-0.0.0.tgz   (20Ko)

Here is a screenshot (35 Ko)  of the demo !

And here is how to control the demo :-) !

Obtaining the current sources via CVS is a good idea if you want to become crazy with compilation stuff.
Do you really want them ???
Ok, let's go !

To obtain the sources of stuntux :

cvs -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.stuntux.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/stuntux login

A password is asked for anonymous access.
Simply press Enter

cvs -z3 -d:pserver:anonymous@cvs.stuntux.sourceforge.net:/cvsroot/stuntux co -P stuntux

The -P flag will ensure that empty directories from our project will not be created by CVS :-)

You can also download the nightly cvs tree Tarball here : stuntux-cvsroot.tar.gz    (about 500 Ko)
